將來完成進行時，是英語中，動詞的一種基本時態，其構成為：主語+shall/will+助動詞have+been+動詞的現在分詞+其他成分。其表達的意思為：表示某種情況下一直持續到說話人所提及的時間。

主語+ shall/will have been doing

如:

I shall have been working here in this factory for twenty years by the end of the year. 到今 年年底，我將在這個工廠工作20年了

The play is coming off in August. By then the play will have been running for three months. 這個劇將于8月停演。到那時為止，這個劇將連演三個月了。

By Friday midday, they will have been working on it for seven days.到星期五中午，他們就在這個工程上干了7天了。

在下列句子中，will是情態助動詞，有“大概”或“我想”的含義。

如：

①You’ll have been wondering all this time how my invention works.

我想你這些時候一直想知道我的發明是怎樣工作的吧。

②They will have been having a holiday yesterday.

他們昨天大概是在度假來著。

1、將來完成進行時強調動作過程在另一動詞之前的長度。而將來完成時更強調在另一件事前一個動作的完成。

如：

By the time John retires， James will have been practicing for 10 years.

到約翰退休的時候，詹姆斯已經在從事工作10年了。

2、動作本身就是連續的：

By the end of the month he will have been living/working/studying here for ten years.

到了月底他在這里居住/工作/學習就滿十年了。

3、一種經常進行的動作被表示為連續的動作：

By the end of this month he will have been training horses/climbing mountains for twenty years.

到了這個月底他馴馬/登山就滿20年了。

但是如果提到所馴馬匹或所攀登的山峰的數目，或用任何方式把動作分割為一次又一次的動作，就必須用將來完成時：

By the end of the month he will have trained 600 horses/climbed 50 mountains.

到本月底，他馴服的馬就有600匹/攀登的山峰就有50座了

I shall have been working here in this factory for twenty years by the end of the year. 到今年年底，我將在這個工廠工作20年了

If we don't hurry up the store will have been closing before we get there. 咱們如不快一點兒，等我們到了那兒，店門就會關了。
